Salzburger Tarock playing cards -- 54 card deck
This Tarock deck is made by Ferd. Piatnik & Söhne, the leading Austrian manufacturer, from Vienna. The deck consists of 22 Tarock cards, and 32 suited cards; totaling 54 cards. The suited cards consist of 16 court cards (king, queen, knight, jack -- called honors) and 16 spot cards (called scartins).
It should be noted that this is a facsimile edition of the historic Salzburger Tarock deck. For this reason none of the cards bare the Piatnik logo.
